Fieldside Grange was formerly a Lakeland Farm and has been extensively refurbished in recent years whilst still retaining all the character of the original stone and slate building, which was built circa 1850. The majority of the 9 comfortable and well equipped self contained apartments are now ETC 4 Star. There are 5 one bedroom apartments sleeping 2 people, and 4 two bedroom apartments of which one sleeps 3 people and three sleep 4 people.
Fieldside Grange is on the edge of Keswick, on the road leading to Castlerigg Stone Circle, and is approached via a private drive. The driveway, part of which is not tarmaced, is lined with trees, rhododendrons and shrubs. The centre of Keswick is one and a half miles from the property and from the end of the drive to the centre of Keswick there is a pavement. The property is about 600 feet above sea level and from the grounds, which total about one and a half acres, there are first class views (see right) over Keswick and Derwentwater towards Cat Bells and Maiden Moor.
If you are looking for a quiet location, excellent views, inclusive price, then Fieldside Grange could be just the place!

All apartments have:
- An open plan living area with kitchen and separate bedroom(s) and bathroom with shower, WC and wash hand basin.
- Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, and a complete range of utensils, crockery and cutlery. Colour Teletext TV, video and radio/CD players. Iron and ironing board.
- New wooden double glazed windows.
- Bedding by way of hollow fibre duvets. If required, blankets can be provided instead of duvets.
- Electric heaters in addition to radiators in all rooms.
In addition:
- A number of apartments have baths and dishwashers.
- There are exposed beams in apartments 1 and 4.
- Pets are welcome in some of the apartments at no extra cost.
- There is ample free parking and the complex includes a heated drying room with washer/dryer.
- There is a payphone in the reception area, which also contains tourist information and the daily fells forecast.
- Please bring your own bath and tea towels.
Within the grounds there are seats and picnic benches to enjoy the wonderful views and local wildlife.

Short breaks. These are available from Saturday 4th November 2006 for
a minimum of 2 nights (Christmas and New Year excluded). If, however, we have
availability we will willingly consider short breaks at other times provided
these are requested no more than two weeks prior to the start of the short break.

The price Includes: Oil fired central heating, electricity, bed linen, cleaning materials, cot (subject to availability), highchair (subject to availability), VAT and there are no charges for pets. Major credit and debit cards accepted at no extra charge. Beds are made up prior to the arrival of guests and there is a welcome tray in each apartment. We are pleased to offer a discount for single occupancy in the 2 people apartments.
